How many pictures will we receive?
The number of images depends on how long you book a photographic service. The longer, the more pictures. Every wedding is individual and so is the number of pictures. What is the recommended duration for booking a wedding photographer / videographer?
The number of hours you should book a wedding photographer / videographer for depends on your specific needs and the schedule of your wedding day. Some couples prefer to have their photographer / videographer present from the start of the getting ready until the first dance / start of the party, which could be a total of 10-12 hours or more.
Whether 6 - 8 hours of wedding photography is enough or not also depends on your specific needs and schedule. If your wedding ceremony and reception are both relatively short, then 6 - 8 hours might be sufficient. However, if you want to ensure that all important moments are captured, it may be a good idea to book a longer coverage time.
Typically, a wedding photographer / videographer will stay at the wedding from the getting ready until the first dance / start of the party. The exact length of time will depend on the schedule and specific needs of the couple.
How far in advance should we book a photographer for our wedding?
Peak dates are often booked 12-18 months in advance. If you plan to get married on a Saturday during the spring / summer months, we suggest getting in contact as soon as possible.
